Bachelor’s Degrees and 8 years’ experience
Maintain an extensive knowledge of international, federal, state and local environmental laws,
regulations, and guidance. Make recommendations to ensure adherence/compliance to all
applicable laws, regulations and business plans between Government agencies/contractors.
Provide recommendations defining environmental milestones/responsibilities.
Review existing and newly issued federal and state environmental regulations for the purpose of maintaining a positive environmental posture, preventing pollution in Command processes at the source, reducing the use of ODCs and HAZMATs in AMCOM weapon systems and mitigating any environmental/occupational health risks impacting the Command’s mission and sustainment of Army weapons systems.
Perform environmental and occupational health, industrial hygiene, safety site assessments/studies to assure adequate consideration is given to environmental, occupational health and industrial hygiene risks.
Provide recommendations for the Environmental Management System (EMS), compliance and pollution prevention for AMCOM depots and all other Command subordinate activities.
